oil and gas well production sites
. 8 intrinsically safe field input channels (1 reserved for low battery alarm) for water and oil tank high level switches, high/low pressure Swichgages on pressurized vessels or process piping, etc. Input channel wiring is rated for Class 1 Division 1 location of level and pressure switches; annunciator panel is rated for Class 1 Division 2 location installation. Provides "first out" indication when pneumatic shutdown is initiated through individual channel LED indicators. This unit is intended to close a Manumatic valve or Kimray valve immediately upon alarm condition by venting that valve's "hold open" gas to atmosphere and simultaneously blocking supply gas through the use of an integrated all stainless wetted parts Parker explosion proof 3-way solenoid valve (mounted on lower right side of enclosure in photos). All field wiring inputs are supervised for "fail safe" operation if any field wiring is cut or compromised in any way. Regular gel filled phone cable can be used for wiring to field devices; no conduit is required because of the intrinsically safe power levels in field wiring. Battery life is typically 3-5 years, and this unit senses a failing battery and initiates shutdown after a warning period if battery voltage falls below acceptable standards. This unit readily adapts to radio linked remote shutdown and/or interface to SCADA systems for alarm status monitoring or remote shut-in of well. Green heartbeat LED is readily visible and blinks 24/7 for immediate verification of monitoring status at a glance, and a wiring failure LED accompanies any channel alarm with which a wiring problem has been detected. An onboard beeper accompanies any alarm condition with specific sounds for different alarm types. Includes ALANN IV unit in gasketed steel enclosure with 2" pipe mounting clamps, solar panel with 6' pigtail, 45 degree mounting bracket, and 2" pipe clamp, 12V 8AH maintenance free gel battery, extra cable gland, and exhaust port 90 degree ell bug screen.
