    Description

    I came across across this little yellow plastic paper cutter / opener while cleaning out my top dresser drawer while looking for my Social Security card which I need to renew my driver's license.  (Why, at 75, do I need that,  I ask myself, but that's another matter).
    I have no idea where this came from.  The Southern Union Gas Company is a Houston Texas based gas pipeline company which was founded in 1929, but this cutter isn't that old! My late wife's family comes from South Texas so this probably came from one of her uncles.
    I have no idea how this thing works, so I really don't know
    whether
    it "works."  There are instructions on the side.  It measures 2 1/4 inches long and looks complete.  The metal (brass or copper) "parts" are not corroded and the plastic body looks very good for its age - wish I did!
